A UK-based media tech startup approached Emvigo with a clear but technically demanding vision. It was to build a platform that put content creators in control of their intellectual property. The platform had to allow them to upload content, define usage terms, and receive payments, while also giving brands a way to browse, license, and download high-quality user-generated content at scale.

The client needed a fully functional MVP capable of handling complex rights management workflows, secure file handling, real-time licensing controls, and integrated payment. Creators could define precise usage terms for each piece of content, specifying licensing scope, duration, and permitted use cases. Brands accessed a real-time licensing interface that reflected those terms accurately, ensuring every transaction was legally structured and transparently governed from the platform's first day of operation.

Secure UGC Upload & File Handling Infrastructure

Stripe Payment Integration - Creator Payouts & Brand Transactions

Full Stripe integration covered both sides of the marketplace. Creators received payments directly through the platform upon content licensing. Payment flows were production-ready at launch.

Creators accessed a responsive dashboard enabling content upload, usage term configuration, licensing status tracking, and payment visibility. This gives them meaningful, real-time control over their IP and earnings in a single interface.

Brand-Facing Content Discovery & Licensing Portal

Brands used a structured browse-and-search interface to identify, evaluate, and license creator content at scale, with clear licensing terms, download management, and transaction history available within a purpose-built portal designed around brand procurement workflows.

Scalable MVP Architecture for Post-Launch Growth

Built on Node.js, MongoDB, and Vue.js, the platform's architecture was deliberately structured for expansion. This enables new content categories, licensing models, and market entrants to be incorporated post-MVP without requiring the foundational infrastructure to be rebuilt.
