An Australia-based oilfield services and engineering company built expertise in proprietary composite matting formulas. These calculations helped confirm whether heavy equipment, like piling rigs, was safely supported on different soils.
The engineering logic was highly confidential. But using it day-to-day still meant engineers relied on manual or semi-digitalised processes. Calculations took time. Results could vary between engineers. Sharing outputs with oilfield owners and external clients added another challenge. The results had to be easy to understand. They also had to hide the formula logic behind them.
Emvigo built an engineering calculation platform comprising an Admin Dashboard, Engineering Portal, and custom calculation engine. The result was a standardised, automated workflow. It kept proprietary formulas under the client’s control. It also made engineering results faster to generate, audit, and share securely.

Emvigo delivered a two-component engineering calculation platform backed by a custom calculation engine. Engineers manage projects and calculations through the Engineering Portal, while administrators control access, project visibility, and external result sharing through the Admin Dashboard.

Admin Dashboard
