I recently had the privilege of attending Collision 2024 in Toronto from the 17th to the 20th of June. As the CEO of Emvigo, I always prioritise staying at the forefront of industry trends and fostering connections with like-minded individuals. Collision proved to be the perfect platform for both. The energy at the event was electric, with a constant buzz of ideas, discussions, and the promise of groundbreaking innovation. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with industry leaders, learn from inspiring talks, and discover the latest trends shaping the future.
The event saw global participation, and I had the chance to interact and converse with attendees from various countries including Canada, the USA, the Netherlands, South Africa, the Middle East, the UK, Iran etc. Engaging with such diverse individuals enriched my experience, offering interesting perspectives and insights.

Another highlight was the “What’s Next” stall by IBM. Their real-time ball movement tracking demo showcasing the power of AI was mind-blowing. It wasn’t just the technology itself, but the potential applications that sparked my imagination. Could similar innovations revolutionise the way we approach customer experience? Imagine in-store retail environments where product recommendations are tailored in real-time based on a shopper’s movements and preferences, just like the IBM demo! This opens up a whole new world of possibilities for personalised marketing and enhanced customer engagement.
